Good food, good feeling: A hearty buffet breakfast is the best way to start each day. Expect a vast selection with everything you could ask for, including breads, pastries, cold cuts, freshly-prepared egg dishes and other hot favourites, as well as yoghurt, muesli and fresh fruit. Wash it all down with a mug of mountain herb tea. At dinnertime, the menu at the SKY Restaurant switches to sharing plates perfect for sampling an array of flavours. The tasty menu is largely vegetarian, but there are meat dishes to enjoy too.
How to get there
The hotel is located in the town of Freistadt in Upper Austria. From Linz Airport it’s roughly 40 minutes to an hour’s drive to the hotel. From Vienna International Airport it’s about a two and a half to three and half hours’ drive.

Freistadt
As you stroll through Freistadt, you can sense the centuries of history imbued in the very walls and streets of the town. Follow narrow walkways lined with pretty, pastel-hued houses, their window boxes overflowing with fragrant flowers, and take a stroll through the charming old town, which hides plenty of shops, restaurants and patisseries to explore. Discover more of the town’s history up close in Castle Museum, and climb the tower to the 40-metre high walkway to enjoy impressive views across the town towards the rolling countryside.
