Castrocaro Terme
Located in the spa town of Terme Castrocaro, just over an hour from San Marino in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, the hotel sits next to an eight-hectare landscaped park, with oaks, cedars, shrubs and medicinal plants. You can drive to beachside Rimini for some sunning, and to Ravenna to explore its colourful mosaic buildings, both in around an hour. You definitely shouldn't miss a visit to the tiny city-state of San Marino, where towering mountaintop fortresses offer up unforgettable views over the surrounding land.
