Laya Resort Phuket Island is situated on Phuket’s western coast, right near Bang Tao Beach. Transfers from Phuket International Airport take approximately 30 minutes.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements before you travel, including whether your passport must be machine readable or which visas/waivers may be required for entry, such as ESTA for USA travel and/or ETIAS for EU travel. Please also be sure to check the validity of your passport and allow up to 10 weeks for passport renewals.

Phuket’s West Coast is lapped by the Andaman Sea and features jungle-clad beaches of soft sand as well as an array of interesting sights. During your stay, visit saltwater lagoons, tour temples like Wat Phra Tong and the iconic Big Buddha - both about an hour away - and take a day trip to the beautifully Phang Nga Bay. Here you’ll have the opportunity to kayak through sea caves and take in the sights of the bay’s massive stone pillars. You can also visit Koh Panyee, an overwater village that’s home to a seafaring community.
One of the island’s best beaches is situated on the west coast - the famed Bang Tao Beach, which has bars, sun loungers and beach amenities. Down in Phuket city, roughly 40 minutes away, there are the bustling markets and buzzing nightlife venues that Thailand is famous for, so be sure to take a trip to the city to see what all the fuss is about.
