Province of Lecce

Situated within the heel of Italy's boot near the pretty bay of Torre dell'Orso, the hotel occupies a picturesque spot in the Salento landscape. Framed by two high cliffs and embraced by swathes of pine, the region’s sandy beach is the perfect spot to soak up the sun. The limestone cliffs surrounding the Cave of Poetry’s natural pool of water is also a nearby gem, and there are plenty of pretty vantage points close by too.

When you’re not unwinding by the sea, you can take a 30-minute drive to discover the ornate cathedral, Baroque buildings and central square of lovely Lecce. After a healthy dose of culture, be sure to experience this historic city’s local dining scene - as well as the region’s first-class wines.

Hire a bike and meander quiet lanes or use a car to get out further afield. All roads lead to a reward (and usually a good restaurant or beach bar, too).
