Entry requirements

Blanes
Blanes is one of the Costa Brava’s top resorts. Like many of the coastline’s tourist centres, it started out as a small fishing village, and though it retains some of its original charm, it has been significantly modernised and now offers excellent facilities for water sports, cultural activities and family entertainment. The four-kilometre beach with its long promenade lined in shops, bars and restaurants is the main draw, but away from the seafront there are ancient churches and a medieval castle dating back to the 13th century.
