How to get there
From Salzburg Airport it’s about 35 minutes’ drive to the hotel, which is situated on a high plateau of the Osterhorn mountain range.

Faistenau
A mere 20 kilometres from the city of Salzburg, Faistenau is situated amongst beautiful countryside in the foothills of the Alps, high up on a mountain plateau. The scenery – all lush meadows, shallow-sided valleys and craggy ridges, is a tonic to the stresses of daily life, and is best explored on hikes and bike rides. It’s a year-round destination: close to slopes for skiing, horse-drawn sleigh rides and snowshoeing in the winter season, while during late spring, summer and autumn the lakes of the Salzkammergut provide cooling breezes and beautiful vistas, and there is a climbing park, gorges, folk festivals and walking trails to explore. Plus, the musical city of Salzburg, with its historical Old Town, dreamy palaces and mementos of Mozart, is less than half an hour away.
