How to get there
Le Méridien Beach Resort is 30 kilometres outside of Bodrum town, near the resort area of Boğaziçi. Bodrum-Milas airport is about 17 kilometres away. A car would be ideal for exploring, but there are also public minibuses (dolmuses) available for travel around the Bodrum peninsula. Parking is available on site and is complimentary, or you can take a taxi from the airport.
Entry requirements
The passport, visa and health requirements at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website for UK citizens, and on the Department of Foreign Affairs website for IE citizens. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements before you travel, including whether your passport must be machine readable or which visas/waivers may be required for entry, such as ESTA for USA travel and/or ETIAS for EU travel. Please also be sure to check the validity of your passport and allow up to 10 weeks for passport renewals.

The Bodrum Peninsula is known as Turkey’s answer to St Tropez: glam beach bars, upscale restaurants and nightclubs, but it also has a relaxed, idyllic side too. Yalikavak village is one such place, a tranquil setting close to the sparkling Aegean waters, with waterfront taverns along the harbour. The lush valley is perfect if you want to dip in and out of the action, perhaps horse riding one day and a slap-up lunch, a hike and a relaxed barbecue the next.
