Day 1-2: Kuala Lumpur

Touch down in Kuala Lumpur, a vibrant metropolis offering a captivating blend of modern skyscrapers and rich cultural heritage. Take some time to settle into your sumptuous hotel before heading out into the city to uncover its many charms at your leisure. Marvel at the iconic Petronas Twin Towers and ascend to the observation deck for panoramic views, take in the capital’s many resplendent temples and mosques, or simply relax in one of the region’s peaceful gardens.

In order to really get a taste for the city, consider joining an optional five-hour Kuala Lumpur Food & Heritage Walking Tour. With a local guide, this culinary adventure will take you through the city's colourful streets, sampling delicious local dishes like Nasi Lemak, Cendol, Roti Canai, Hokkien Mee, Grilled Fish, and Chee Cheong Fun. Along the way, you'll explore historic landmarks such as Central Market, Chinatown, Sin Sze Si Ya Temple, and the beautiful Sri Maha Mariamman Temple.

Want to delve deeper into Malaysia's rich culture? Embark on a captivating optional three-hour excursion to the breathtaking Batu Caves, a Hindu shrine renowned for its towering limestone cliffs, Hindu deities, and 272 steps which lead up to the temple. Before reaching the Batu Caves, you'll also have the opportunity to witness the intricate art of pewter making at the world’s largest Royal Selangor Pewter factory, as well as making a short stop to explore the traditional crafts on offer at the Batik Centre.

Day 3-5: Ipoh

Enjoy a delicious breakfast as usual before saying goodbye to the bustling capital and hitting the road for the historic city of Ipoh, nestled in the rich tin-bearing Kinta Valley. Over the next few days, immerse yourself in the region's unique mix of culture and natural beauty. Make sure to explore the charming Old Town with its Chinese shophouses and traditional lanes, or wander through the bustling Ipoh Night Market, picking out local goods and sampling iconic dishes like Ipoh Hor Fun. You also shouldn't miss the opportunity to visit the stunning Perak Cave Temple, adorned with intricate murals, or take a boat ride through the picturesque Gunung Lang Recreational Park.

Day 6-10: Pangkor Laut Island

Declared a paradise by the late Pavarotti, the final stage of your Malaysian escape takes place on the private island of Pangkor Laut. After your thrilling speedboat transfer takes you straight to your gorgeous resort, it’s up to you on how you spend your days here. Organise a romantic sunset cruise, keep an eye out for long-tailed macaques and oriental pied hornbills amidst the ancient rainforest, or simply sip from refreshing drinks as you take in dreamy views across the Straits of Malacca. The sun-kissed shores of Emerald Bay are also perfect for soaking up the sun and snorkelling through crystal-clear waters.

The next day, after your stay in paradise finally comes to an end, it's time to return via speedboat to the mainland before hopping in your transfer back to the airport in Kuala Lumpur. Return home with memories to last a lifetime.
