How to get there
From Hanover and Leipzig airports you can reach the hotel by car in less than 90 minutes. The nearest train station is in Herzberg, around 12 km away. From there several bus lines run to the nearby Postplatz.

Bad Lauterberg
The picturesque landscape of the Harz National Park boasts idyllic forests, moors and rivers and can be explored in a wonderfully relaxed manner on long hikes: pay a visit to the Unicorn Cave, the largest accessible cave in the western Harz, which was once home to Neanderthals. You can also conquer the legendary Brocken on foot or with the Harz narrow-gauge railway.
Winter sports fans will also get their money's worth in the area and can enjoy the beautiful scenery on a whizz down to the valley in the Braunlage-Wurmberg ski area (approx. 17 km away).
