Day 1: UK - Tirana

Get ready to embark on your journey! Head to the departure airport for your flight to Tirana*, the vibrant capital of Albania. Once you arrive, transfer to your hotel and settle in. Take the rest of the day to relax after your travels or explore the city at your leisure.

Please note that if your outbound or return flights depart in the early hours (before 4am), you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.

Day 2: Tirana - Lezhë - Ulcinj - Bar

Savour breakfast at the hotel before setting off on an exciting adventure to Ulcinj, Montenegro. Along the way, make a memorable stop in Lezhë, where you’ll delve into the fascinating history of the Mausoleum of Skanderbeg, a tribute to Albania’s national hero. Tourist tax	Tourist tax in Albania must be paid in cash directly at the hotels. The amount will vary according to the city and the category of accommodation chosen: 3 hotels, 80 to 150 ALL (Albanian Lek), per room per night; 4 hotels, 300 to 400 ALL (Albanian Lek) per room per night. Tourist tax in Montenegro and Bosnia must also be paid in cash at the hotels; the amount will vary between €1-2 per person per night.
Luggage	Remember to download your e-ticket to confirm the times of your flights. If you are traveling with Ryanair or Wizz Air, we recommend completing online check-in on the website to avoid additional charges. The reservation includes one piece of hand luggage per person only (40cm x 20cm x 25cm), which must be placed under the seat in front on the plane. Additional luggage can be purchased in advance through the airline's website. Any extra luggage that does not meet the specified dimensions and is not reserved in advance will be subject to additional fees at the airport. Some hotels, particularly those in historic neighbourhoods or small towns, may not be equipped with elevators. We kindly suggest that you bear this in mind when packing and choosing your luggage.
Itinerary	In the case of adverse weather conditions, for safety reasons or for any other reasons deemed appropriate, the order and duration of the excursions included in the itinerary may be changed or cancelled without prior notice. This itinerary encompasses numerous points of interest and activities for you to fully enjoy your stay in the Balkans. For this reason, on some days, we will start early in the morning and cover long distances. It is important to note that some roads may be in poor condition and that we cannot predict traffic volume in advance.
Offer conditions	Remember to download your e-ticket to confirm the times of your flights and to complete online check-in using the airline’s website, or directly at the check-in desk at the airport. Accommodation at the hotels is as indicated. In the event of any changes to accommodation, they will always be of the same or a higher category. The category of hotels is not standardised across all countries in the world. For this reason, the criteria may differ depending on the destination country's own standards.
Things to consider	We recommend ensuring you have enough cash in the local currency, as withdrawing cash from ATMs is not always easy in the Balkans. Due to the nature of the destination, the terrain may be uneven and may require walking on rocky and/or uphill areas. For wheelchair users, a prior request must be made. Contact us for more information. Car seats are not available in all destinations. Feel free to take your own if you need one.
Deposit	Please note that a deposit of 35% of the travel price must be paid within 48 hours of your booking; the remaining balance of 65% is due no later than 60 days before departure. The travel booking only becomes binding when you receive our travel confirmation.
