Bad Ischl
You’re well positioned to saunter out into the town, with the glistening, clear river Traun just a few minutes walk away. Not to be missed is Cafe-Restaurant Zauner (just around the corner), where you can sample strudels, cream slices and cakes of the former Imperial and Royal Court confectioner.
It’s the combination of salt, brine, and sulphur that makes Bad Ischl such a mineral-rich and healing atmosphere.
