How to get there
The hotel is located in the village of Lüsen, South Tyrol, in the Italian Alps. It's approximately 60 kilometres from Bolzano Airport, taking roughly one hour and 10 minutes by car. The hotel has complimentary parking should you want to hire a car, or alternatively, a transfer service is available to and from the airport for an additional cost. South Tyrol has a good train network, with connecting trains from Austria, Switzerland and Germany. Vintl, Ehrenburg and Mühlbach train stations are approximately 40 kilometres away.

Entry requirements

Lüsen

This family-run hotel sits in the South Tyrolean town of Lüsen, in the Italian Dolomite Alps, so it goes without saying that no matter where you're looking, you can bank on breathtaking views. In the winter, take advantage of the Ladurns, Trafoi and Caressa Dolomites ski areas, and in the summer the landscape transforms from winter solace to luscious green rolling hills.

Lüsen is often called ‘the most beautiful hiking valley in South Tyrol’ by the locals – there are more than 16,000 kilometres of signposted hiking trails, with Alpine huts along the way for a bite to eat and take in the views. Just outside Lüsen is a natural spring water bathing pond, perfect to cool down in after a day hiking. The hotel has equipment for these activities to borrow or hire, so make sure to check with them to see what is available. For an additional cost you can also book a walking or bike tour of the local area and mountain range.
