How to get there
Mountain Hotel Luis is 100 kilometres from Salzburg Airport - a drive of roughly an hour and a half. You’ll need to hire a car, since public transport is not available for this mountainous route.

Kaprun
Kaprun is a stunning mountain town, where glaciers, alpine peaks and vast lakes come together to produce unforgettably beautiful surroundings. The area is popular with skiers in winter, with glacial slopes and several ski areas in the area. Come summer, it's all about hiking, mountain biking, swimming and admiring the greenery that twinkles in the reflection of the lakes. Be sure to visit the fairytale charms of Sigmund Thun Klamm, a small dam that looks straight out of Snow White, and just a short drive away you’ll find the Zeller See, where stand-up paddle boarding and windsurfing are the order of every day. If you decided to hire a car (which we highly recommend), Salzburg’s sights are an hour and a half away.
