Choose from two incredible routes that will each bring you closer to the different facets of this fascinating continent - from the Gold Coast to the Great Barrier Reef. Whether you choose the 13-night version or the longer 17-night option, you're sure to be making some fantastic memories.

Your trip begins in Sydney, where you can admire the world-famous Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The 13-night route continues to Port Macquarie, a charming coastal town with a breathtaking beach, and then to the Gold Coast, which delights with its long sandy beaches and lively flair. Afterward, head to Rockhampton, an ideal base from which to explore the tropical outback. Via Airlie Beach, you will finally reach Cairns, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, where you can explore a spectacular underwater world.

If you have more time, you can opt for the 17-night version, which gives you even deeper insights into the Australian hinterland and coastal regions. In addition to the destinations of the 13-night itinerary, the trip also takes you to Katoomba in the Blue Mountains National Park, where you can admire the impressive rock formations and discover the famous Three Sisters viewpoint. In the Hunter Valley, known for its wineries, a culinary discovery tour awaits you. Other highlights of the longer tour include lively Brisbane, as well as tropical Urangan with its unspoilt beaches and unique rainforests.

After pickup from your accommodation, soar over the rainforest canopy on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, explore the fascinating nature of Red Peak and Barron Falls with a guide and enjoy free time in charming Kuranda. Similar accommodation	In order to give you the best possible holiday, we sometimes offer trips where you'll be staying at one of a selection of hotels (all with the same star rating, board basis, room type and location). Mostly, you'll be staying in the hotel written up in our description, but we're unable to guarantee the exact accommodation featured on the website every time. We'll let you know the name of your hotel, at least 7 days before departure.
Rental car	SUV car hire is included in this offer. The vehicle must be picked up at the Dollar Car Rental branch in Sydney and returned to the branch in Cairns. An International Driver's Permit is required. Maximum driver age is 75 years. One-way fee isn't covered and will need to be paid onsite. Early or late pick-up or returns will also incur additional fees. Insurance is included in the offer. Additional services such as GPS or a child seat are available for an additional fee. Travel documents	Your hotel confirmation will be sent as soon as the booking is made, or within seven days of the booking. Final documents, including internal flight tickets/train tickets, shall be sent upon your arrival at the first destination.
