Along the way, stop at the imposing Tualang tree, one of the largest trees in the rainforest and explore the fascinating Kelah Fish Sanctuary, where you'll have the chance to snorkel among the colourful freshwater fish. Finally, enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool waters of the Gunung Tahan spring and be pampered by the natural whirlpools - an unforgettable experience for sure.
•Day 8: UNESCO World Heritage Jatiluwih Rice Terraces by e-bike•
This two-hour bike tour with electric bikes starts at the Batukaru Temple (without visiting the temple) and takes you from there through beautiful landscapes to the impressive centre of Jatiluwih with its famous rice terraces, accompanied by an experienced local guide who is happy to share his knowledge about this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Journey through dense jungle, extensive bamboo forests, local villages, rice terraces, plantations and wide valleys. After your bike tour, enjoy an authentic Indonesian meal in the Green café, which is located in the centre of Jatiluwih and surrounding rice fields. Afterwards, you'll have a little time to relax before heading back.
•Day 9: Full-day excursion - Ubud - Lovina (12-night itinerary only)•
After leaving Ubud, you'll be taken to Taman Ayun Temple in Mengwi, where you can marvel at the intricate, multi-storey roof structures. Afterwards, the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will transport you to a peaceful, green idyll. At your next stop, the Ulun Danu Bratan temple fascinates with its mystical atmosphere, right on the lake. In between, you'll also get to stop to photograph Buyan and Tamblingan, two tranquil lakes in an ancient volcanic crater surrounded by dense nature. Finally, in the evening, you will reach Lovina.
•Day 10: Sunrise dolphin watching and waterfall experience (14 or 16-night itinerary only)•
Due to these beautiful animals being most active in the morning, prepare to be picked up in the early hours for a magical dolphin watching experience. You will be taken to the sea off Lovina by a traditional outrigger wooden boat to see the dolphins in their natural environment. At the end of the boat trip, hike a short distance to a stunning waterfall where you can take a refreshing dip or cool your feet. Continue to Ulun Danu Temple, dedicated to the goddess of water and located at the edge of Lake Beratan.
•Day 11: Full-day excursion - Lovina - Candidasa•
The drive from Lovina to Candidasa leads through the picturesque landscape of Bali and offers impressive views of volcanoes and rice fields. A stop in Kintamani, on the rim of the Gunung Batur crater, is particularly worthwhile for admiring Bali's most active volcano, Mount Batur, and the idyllic, turquoise-green Lake Batur nestled within the ancient caldera. The trail also takes you to Bali's most important Hindu sanctuary, Pura Besakih: the impressive temple complex is located on the slopes of the volcanic mountain Agung and is known as the "mother temple" of Bali.
•Day 12: Full-day Lempuyang Temple and East Bali tour•
Visit the magnificent Lempuyang Temple, the oldest and most revered temple in Bali. It's located on the slope of the mountain of the same name and offers a breathtaking view - especially through its gate, which seems to open the way to heaven with a view of the clouds around the mountain peak of Mount Agung. You then continue to the Tirta Gangga water palace in the east of Bali, a former royal palace known for its elaborate gardens and fountains - similar to the Ujung water palace, where you also make a stop. Your excursion ends with views from Asah Hill and a relaxing walk on the white sand before you make your way back.

The trip continues with a walking tour of a tea plantation, where you can learn more about cultivation and processing and enjoy a fresh brew with a panoramic view. Then, pick fresh strawberries at a strawberry farm or sample sweet, homemade strawberry products. Other highlights include the colourful butterfly garden and a spiritual visit to a tranquil Buddhist temple.
