How to get there
From Salzburg Airport, you can reach your hotel in just under an hour by car via the A10 motorway or around two hours via public transport. From the train station in St. Johann im Pongau, around nine kilometres away, you can reach your accommodation in approximately 15 minutes by car or local transport.

St. Johann im Pongau District
This picturesque region in Pongau, known as a valley of alpine pastures, is a celebrated model for natural mountain pursuits. It stretches over 27 kilometres from the Arlscharte to the Liechtenstein Gorge and is also part of the Hohe Tauern National Park. This alone promises plenty to explore. If you want to conquer the mountains by mountain bike, you should try the Grossarltal single trail. Winter sports fans will certainly get their money's worth on the Grossarltal-Dorfgastein ski area with its 70 kilometres of slopes and 16 lifts. For memorable family outings, consider the medieval Hohenwerfen Castle, offering impressive bird of prey demonstrations and sweeping views over the Salzach Valley.
