Day 3 or 4: Optional private Boracay island-hopping tour with beachfront lunch and Crystal Cove
Ready to discover hidden coves, empty beaches and colourful underwater worlds? Board your comfortable private boat with your dedicated guide and set sail on a bespoke tour to stunning spots off the main tourist trail. You’ll visit a beautiful beach in the morning, then dive into the waves to discover marine life around the coral reef. Cruise around some of the island’s prettiest hidden gems, then stop for a tasty lunch at a beachfront restaurant. You’ll end your tour with a visit to Crystal Cove, a picturesque spot with mesmerising island views.
Day 8: Optional private Moalboal island tour and sardine run (12 and 14-night itineraries only)
Famous for its world-class diving spots, Moalboal is the perfect setting for this exciting tour. Island-hop around the area and snorkel in some of the best waters Cebu has to offer; if you’re lucky, you might even get to see the famed sardine run, dive amidst thousands of sardines and see some friendly sea turtles.
Day 9: Optional private historical Cebu City tour (14-night itinerary only)
Learn all about the incredible history of Cebu on an enlightening tour around its many historic monuments. Witness the influence that different cultures have had on the city as you visit important sights, including the oldest fort in the Philippines, the oldest Catholic church in Cebu and the Yap-San Diego Ancestral House, a Chinese-style house built way back in the 17th century during the Spanish colonial era.
Day 8, 10 or 11: Optional private The Beauty of Bohol excursion
Explore the wonders of the Province of Bohol: visit centuries-old churches, witness the traditional local art of salt production, see the world’s smallest primates at a tarsier sanctuary and cruise along the Loboc River as you take in tropical vegetation and limestone cliffs whilst enjoying a traditional buffet. You’ll also visit the must-see Chocolate Hills, a sprawl of over 1,200 cone-shaped mounds that turn a rich brown during the dry season. Finish the tour with freshly-brewed coffee and local Boholano delicacies at a local café.
Day 9, 11 or 12: Optional private Panglao island-hopping with lunch
Kick off this amazing tour bright and early as you head out to see if you can spot dolphins in their natural habitat. If you’re lucky you’ll get to see bottlenose dolphins, spinner dolphins and even the rare Risso’s dolphins. Next you’ll sail to Balicasag Island, where soft sands and a vibrant coral reef await. Choose to snorkel, dive or island-hop around the area, or simply enjoy the sand and paddle in the shallow waters!
