Day 2: Full-day Ninh Binh highlights tour from Hanoi (private tour)

Embark on a full-day tour from Hanoi to the breathtaking landscapes of Ninh Binh. Begin by exploring the ancient capital of Vietnam, Hoa Lu, which flourished in the 10th and 11th centuries. You'll explore the magnificent Angkor Wat, a 12th-century masterpiece with intricate carvings telling its Hindu and Buddhist history. Continue to Angkor Thom, the empire's last capital, to see the iconic stone faces of the Bayon temple. Finally, visit the famous Ta Prohm temple, where ancient ruins are embraced by giant tree roots, and end your day with a magical sunset view from the Bakheng temple.

Day 9: Half-day tour to Tonle Floating Village (private tour)

Journey to the unique and fascinating Tonle Sap, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, on a thrilling half-day tour. Your guide will take you to a floating village, a world away from the busy mainland. Here, you'll gain a glimpse into the daily lives of the local communities who have adapted to life on the water, with homes, schools, and markets built on stilts or floating on the lake's surface.

Day 11: Kuala Lumpur with Petronas Twin Towers Observation Deck & Batu Cave (private tour)

Explore the vibrant metropolis of Kuala Lumpur on an exciting city tour. You'll discover impressive landmarks such as the famous Petronas Towers, the National Mosque, Thean Hou Temple, bustling China Town, Little India, Merdeka Square, and the colourful Central Market. You'll also get to see the impressive Batu Caves, a significant spiritual site where you can experience the mystical atmosphere of the Hindu temple complex.

Please note that if Petronas Towers tickets are not available (for example for last-minute or festive/peak season bookings) then you will instead visit the KL Tower Sky Box.

Day 12: Historical Malacca trip from Kuala Lumpur with lunch (private tour, 14 & 16-night itinerary only)

Travel to the historic harbour city of Malacca to immerse yourself in the local history and culture. Your tour begins at St Paul's Church, the oldest in Southeast Asia, before you visit the tomb of St Francis Xavier. Continue to the "Red Square" with the impressive Stadthuys, a relic of the Dutch colonial era, and admire the nearby Christuskirche church. A walk along the Malacca River takes you to the lively Chinatown. On Harmony Street, you'll discover temples of various religions, including Malaysia's oldest Hindu temple. Finally, visit the neo-Gothic St. Francis Church and the imposing Straits Mosque on the man-made island of Pulau Melaka.
