The 14-night itinerary extends this experience into the unspoiled wilderness of Tortuguero and the Afro-Caribbean heart of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. You will then discover La Fortuna and Monteverde before finishing your trip enjoying the sun, surf, and breathtaking sunsets on the dream coast of Tamarindo. Your return to San José marks the end of the trip, leaving you with lasting memories and a deep appreciation for Costa Rica's incredible cultural warmth and natural diversity.

Day 2: Half-day culture and night-time frog excursion

Day 3: Boat tour in Caño Negro

Day 4: Half-day trapiche and coffee excursion

In the midst of the green hills of Monteverde, an authentic adventure awaits you. A guided tour takes you to a traditional trapiche plantation. Discover the secrets of sugar cane processing and taste the fresh juice before diving into the world of coffee. Day 8: Half-day sailing and snorkelling excursion

Day 3: Tortuguero National Park
