How to get there
Gothenburg-Landvetter Airport is about a 90-minute drive away, while Stockholm’s Arlanda Airport is about three hours and 40 minutes away. Huskvarna has a station – about four minutes’ drive or 20 minutes’ walk from the hotel – which connects to Gothenburg through the town of Falkoping.

Huskvarna
The Swedish town of Huskarva nestles on the southern shore of Lake Vattern, Sweden’s deepest and second-largest lake. Waterside attractions include lounging on beautiful beaches, taking in the views of the water and hiking in the surrounding countryside. The lake is so large it creates its own microclimate: the eastern shore is famous for its apple trees, while the enveloping forests and valleys are verdantly green. Hire a bike to explore the west coast in greater detail or hop onto the island in the middle of the lake – Visingso – to pedal around the 25-kilometre-long cycle trail.
The wider region of Småland is a stunning place brimming with diverse landscapes and exciting experiences in nature. Savour an authentic taste of Småland with a berry or mushroom foraging experience, take your pick from a number of hiking trails to see the area from a unique perspective, or for something truly unique, head to a moose park and see these wonderful animals up close. For a dose of culture, there are top-class museums and art galleries, too.
