On the second day, you’ll get to meet Lapland’s famous inhabitants on a Reindeer farm visit. Get up close to the mystical creatures, feed them and pose for pictures, before boarding a sleigh for an epic one-and-a-half-kilometre reindeer ride, whipping past beautiful Arctic scenery.

After night falls, summit Suomu mountain by snowmobile, where a campfire, Finnish sausage, a warming drink and stories from your guide await. From this remote mountaintop viewpoint, the glittering milky way and shooting stars have never been so clear. Learn about the Aurora Borealis from your guide, and with a bit of luck, you’ll get to see the sky aflame with otherworldly colours.
Cross-country skiing with instructor
Taking ‘off the beaten track’ quite literally, ski after your knowledgeable guide down beautiful trails winding through snow-dusted trees. Glimpse dramatic vistas of Finnish Lapland stretching far and wide, and see for yourself why cross-country skiing is Scandinavia's most popular winter sport.
Snowmobile to Käsmä River
Slice through the snow on this expedition across the Käsmäjoki hanging bridge and into a beautifully silent, white forest. Dismount at a modern kota (Finnish cabin) where you can warm yourself by the campfire and taste Finnish sausage alongside a warm drink. Wander into the surrounding trees for a little forest walk - just don't stray too far!
Scandi dog sledge adventure
What better way to dash through the snow than aboard a sledge drawn by Scandinavian race dogs? Get acquainted with your furry friends at the Kota (Finnish cabin), followed by a quick lesson on how to drive the sledge before you're ready to drive through the silent forest, feeling the crisp air and trees whizz past in a beautiful blur. Return to base for snuggles and selfies with the dogs. The longer ride will include a hot Finnish drink and sausage.
Ice fishing by Lake Kemijärvi
To really get a glimpse into authentic, north Finnish life, you can hardly skip the ice fishing trip. This is not only a chance to try your hand at an ancient practice, but also to soak up Lapland's arctic beauty from stillness, a welcome contrast after fast-paced snow dashing. Fear not, your guide will ensure you're wrapped up warm in the appropriate clothing, and will even prepare your fish for you afterwards.
Lakeside Finnish sauna and open-air Jacuzzi
Ski-weary limbs and leisure lovers need look no further than this soul-southing wellness escapade, immersed in Arctic nature. Experience the traditional Finnish sauna in its native land, and savour the contrast of the crisp cold air and the warm bubbling waters of the Jacuzzi. Breathtaking views set quite the backdrop as you restore and revitalise, and as night sets in, you might just get to glimpse the dazzling aurora light up the sky.
Snowshoe forest hike
Enjoy a slowly winding hike up the mountain, winding between enchanting, snow-laden trees. You'll be free to walk at a pace that suits you, stopping to marvel at the frosty beauty stretching far and wide. The hike is well worth it for the glorious views that await at the top of the mountain top.
Short snowmobile adventure
Learn the basics of safely driving the snowmobile across roads and ice, before embarking on an exhilarating one-hour drive through the snowy forest. Your guide will teach you all the techniques, so this ride is suitable for beginners and experienced snowmobilers alike.
