Located amongst the rolling hills of the wine region Franciacorta, connoisseurs will delight in the myriad of wine tasting tours and colourful vineyards within easy reach. The lake also boasts a tiny island in the centre, where you’ll find the Lamose monastery - perhaps you can take a charming boat ride to the centre. The rocky outcrop of Val Camonica is under an hour’s drive, too, and if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, day trips to Milan and Verona and both on the cards, considering you’re equidistant to both and trains run frequently to either.
