How to get there
The hotel is located in the Lake Maggiore town of Ghiffa on the western shore of the lake. The nearest airport is Milan Malpensa Airport which is 70 kilometres away and roughly a one-hour-and-15-minute drive away. Why not hire a car so you can drive at your own pace and soak up the stunning scenery as you go?

Lake Maggiore is Italy’s second largest lake, offering inspirational mountain scenery that famously featured in Ernest Hemingway’s novel A Farewell to Arms. Marvel at the spectacular vistas from the shore or hop on a boat from the private jetty to the Borromean Islands, known for their grand villas and gardens.
A lakeside location wouldn’t be worth its salt if there wasn't an array of watersports and aqua-based activities on offer, and there are options to kite surf on the lake itself, enjoy the nearby Monte Tamaro Adventure Park or, if you’re feeling extra adventurous, take a zip line over the lake. For a more sedentary experience, perhaps enjoy a boat ride to Isola Bella for its 17th-century Palazzo Borromeo, while Golf Club des Iles Borromées provides views of four lakes and mountains, just a half-hour drive away.
