How to get there
Rijeka International Airport is roughly a two-hour journey away, including a ferry to / from Merag, on Cres, to Valbiska, on the island of Krk. In high season the ferry runs 17 times per day, and in low season 10 times per day.

Nerezine

The whole island has a population of just 10,000 people, offering wide open spaces and secluded beaches where you can find a real escape from the world. Explore baroque fishing villages, hunt out untouched beaches and wander the landscapes, scented with sea salt and pine trees. Be sure to take a drive to Televrin, the highest point on the island, which offers scenic views over the turquoise Adriatic, and visit Mali Lošinj, the island’s capital, where harbour-front dining will have you straight into holiday mode.
