Cross dramatic bridges and subsea tunnels linking one wild islet to the next, pausing to gaze out over vast fjords and rolling green mountains that plunge straight into the Atlantic. Wander along moody, black sand beaches and brace the waters if you dare. Seek out the famous Múlafossur waterfall tumbling into the sea at Gásadalur, or stroll the turf-roofed lanes of Saksun and Kirkjubøur. You’ll get to embark on a boat trip along the epic Vestmanna Cliffs, with the option to add on a guided tour to Mykines to say hello to the islands’ cutest inhabitants: puffins.

Day 3: Vestmanna Cliffs boat trip
In the afternoon, join a scenic, 90-minute boat tour along the Vestmanna cliffs, one of the oldest attractions in the Faroe Islands. Marvel at exotic birds, see sheep grazing on what appear to be vertical fields hundreds of metres above your head, and cruise through deep grottoes and around towering sea cliffs shaped by nature over millions of years.

Day 4: Guided tour to Mykines
Embark on a half-day group excursion to Mykines to observe puffins. You’ll park your car at Sørvágur and hop on the ferry for a 45-minute crossing to Mykines. Here, your local guide will lead you along the steep path to the island’s only village from where you can explore, and get close to the adorable puffin colonies along the trail. Your guide will share local stories and give you plenty of time to enjoy the island’s extraordinary natural environment. Return by ferry to Sørvágur.
