A contrast-packed getaway from Beijing and Shanghai to spiritual Ubud & Bali beaches – includes flights, optional & included excursions, and transfers

Embark on a 10, 12 or 14-night adventure of captivating contrasts, pairing the monumental history and futuristic skylines of China with the lush, spiritual tranquility of Bali. You’ll begin in the sprawling capital of Beijing, where the programme delivers you to the imperial grandeur of the Forbidden City and the rugged, winding ramparts of the Great Wall, with an optional rickshaw tour of the old city. From the labyrinthine alleys of traditional hutongs, you'll be whisked away by high-speed bullet train to the electric energy of Shanghai. Here, classical gardens and ancient temples sit quietly in the shadow of neon-lit skyscrapers: expect a tour of the Jade Temple, bustling Nanjing Road and more, with the option to add on a visit to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and a Hangpu River cruise.

Soak up the wonders of this incense-laden, artsy hub, where lush rice terraces stretch far and wide, before journeying toward the sun-drenched southern coast to base yourself in the seaside serenity of Nusa Dua. Along the way, you'll uncover the island's rich heritage, marveling at the cascading green slopes of the Tegalalang and Jatiluwih rice terraces, the sacred Tirta Empul water temple, and dramatic offshore shrine of Tanah Lot, before surrendering to blissful, barefoot days by the sea, where optional excursions into nature abound.
