How to get there
The most common route to the island of La Gomera is to fly into Tenerife South Airport, take a taxi to the port of Los Cristianos, and then board a ferry to San Sebastián de La Gomera. From the port, it's about a 40-minute drive to the hotel. Alternatively, you could fly from Tenerife into La Gomera Airport, which is just a 10-minute drive from the hotel.

La Gomera is a hidden gem of the Canary Islands, known for its dramatic ravines, ancient laurel forests, and a slower pace of life. Start your exploration in the quiet fishing village of Playa de Santiago, just a short drive from the hotel or 10 minutes' walk, where you can stroll along the volcanic pebble beach or enjoy a coffee in the sun-drenched plaza. The area is a haven for hikers, with numerous trails winding through the nearby Barranco de Santiago, offering breathtaking views of the rugged coastline and terraced hillsides.
For an off-the-beaten-track experience, drive to scenic viewpoints like Mirador de Abrante for a birds-eye view of the island's unique geology. If you’re feeling adventurous, the Garajonay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is reachable in around 25 minutes by car. Here, you can lose yourself in the misty, prehistoric cloud forests that look like something from a fairytale. Back on the coast, the crystal-clear waters are perfect for a spot of snorkelling or a whale-watching boat trip departing from the local harbour.
