Ermones
The surrounding area of Ermones is steeped in myth, said to be the spot where Odysseus was washed ashore and met Princess Nausicaa. For nature lovers, the nearby Ropa Valley offers a vast expanse of greenery and a renowned golf club just a few minutes away. If you’re looking to explore further, the scenic Corfu Trail passes through this region, providing winding paths through olive groves and traditional villages that are perfect for a morning hike.
For a change of pace, the UNESCO-listed Corfu Town is easily reachable via car and offers a mix of Venetian architecture, narrow "kantounia" alleyways, and a lively cultural scene. Wander through the historic Spianada square to find a selection of atmospheric cafés, or visit the Old Fortress for panoramic views of the island.
