Things to do
• Northern Lights season is between late August and mid April.
• All excursions (except cruises) include pick-up and drop-off either from your hotel or a designated bus stop nearby.
• For the Puffin watching cruise, please be aware that guests must make their own way to Reykjavik's Old Harbour.
• The Northern Lights are of course a naturally-occurring phenomenon, so while you will have a good chance of seeing them (and we'll cross our fingers for you), we cannot guarantee they will oblige!
• Please note that the Puffin watching cruise is a wildlife tour, and despite the crew's expertise, sightings of any kind can never be predicted or guaranteed.
• Iceland enjoys extended daylight hours from May to August, perfect for maximising your sightseeing. While you'll experience 'no darkness' evenings throughout the summer, the true Midnight Sun, where the sun sets after midnight, is a special highlight typically seen in the weeks surrounding the Summer Solstice in June.
• Please note that standalone Blue Lagoon bookings will include Premium admission, whereas combo tours (such as the Blue Lagoon & Golden Circle) include Comfort admission. The differences between the two are as follows:
Both Premium and Comfort include:
• Entrance to the Blue Lagoon
• Unlimited use of the steam bath, sauna, and colder lagoon
• One silica mud mask at the Mask Bar
• Use of a private locker, a towel, shower facilities with shampoo, conditioner, and moisturiser
• One drink at the in-water bar (non-alcoholic for Comfort admission)
Premium also includes:
• Ugrade to a drink of your choice at the in-water bar, not just non-alcoholic
• Use of bathrobe
• Two additional silica mud masks at the Mask Bar
• One silica mud mask (10mL) to take home
