Coastal village charm: Mediterranean Village Hotel & Spa is a sprawling estate of timeless architecture, designed to mirror a traditional seaside village. Low-rise buildings form intimate neighbourhoods along a vast stretch of golden sand, ensuring your hotel feels like a private sanctuary between the mountains and the sea. Wander down to the sun-drenched sands to find exotic wooden kiosks and serene gazebos, all while the rhythmic sound of the waves provides a constant, calming soundtrack to your stay.
-
Local and international flavours: Start your day with a certified Greek breakfast buffet at Erato, laden with organic honey, homemade marmalades, and just-baked breads. As the day unfolds, enjoy a fast-food style bite at the Souvlaki corner, indulge in fresh seafood at Paprica, or cool off with an ice cream at Dolce Crema. For refreshments, head to the Captain’s lounge or the Eros & Nereus beach bars, before ending your day with expert-level Aperol Spritzes under the stars at Ammos Mediterranean.
-
Holistic rejuvenation: At Venus Spa, traditional healing meets modern science with nature-inspired treatments (fees apply). Unwind in the sauna, hammam, or the seasonally heated indoor pool, or keep active in the well-equipped gym. For an adrenaline fix, the water sports centre offers everything from jet-skiing and flyboarding to canoes and boat trips across the azure bay (fees apply).
How to get thereThe hotel is located on the Pieria coast, approximately 50 minutes' drive from Thessaloniki Airport. If you are travelling from Athens, the journey by car takes roughly four and a half hours. For those arriving by train, the city of Katerini is a major stop on the main line connecting northern and southern Greece, followed by a short taxi ride to the resort.

Central Macedonia
The Olympus Riviera is a captivating blend of majestic landscapes and ancient heritage. Nestled at the foot of Mount Olympus, the legendary home of the gods, this region offers incredible hiking trails through the verdant Enipeas Gorge and the chance to witness rare wildflowers and waterfalls. Just a short drive away lies the Holy City of Macedonia, Ancient Dion, where you can explore archaeological treasures, including ancient temples and a theatre used by Alexander the Great.
For a taste of local life, head into the nearby town of Katerini to browse its extensive markets for jewellery and clothing, or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Municipal Park. Nature enthusiasts shouldn’t miss the internationally significant wetlands at the lagoon of Alikes Kitros, known for its salt flats and traditional fish taverns serving locally produced oysters.
