Bed down at a grand five-star hotel in the heart of the Peak District, with a world-class wellness centre and refined British dining - includes breakfast, dinner, spa access, and more

  • Regal Peak living: Buxton Crescent is a masterpiece of Georgian architecture, originally commissioned by the 5th Duke of Devonshire to establish this market town as a premier spa destination. This heritage gem has been meticulously restored to combine 18th-century grandeur with contemporary luxury, featuring sweeping curves and elegant interiors that overlook the historic town centre. You’ll find the pace of life here is wonderfully refined, offering a sophisticated base from which to explore the rugged beauty of the surrounding national park.

  • Healing thermal waters: Rejuvenate in the hotel’s expansive spa, which continues a long tradition of wellness by using Buxton's mineral-rich thermal waters. You can take a dip in the indoor-outdoor rooftop pool or relax in the sauna and steam rooms, all designed to soothe and restore. For an extra dose of indulgence, a variety of therapeutic massages and beauty treatments are available to ensure you leave feeling completely refreshed (fees apply).

  • Refined British flavours: The dining room offers a sophisticated setting for breakfast and dinner, where a menu of modern British dishes takes centre stage. Using seasonal ingredients, the kitchen team prepares everything from hearty morning spreads to elegant evening meals that celebrate local produce. After a day in the hills, the bar provides a cosy corner for a crisp gin and tonic or a glass of wine in a plush, traditional atmosphere.

How to get thereThe hotel is located in central Buxton, approximately one hour’s drive from Manchester Airport. For those arriving by rail, Buxton station is just a five-minute walk from the property. We’d recommend hiring a car in order to get the most out of the beautiful area.
