How to get there
Madeira Airport is situated around 10 kilometres from the hotel; the best way to get here is via taxi or hire car (parking is available for an extra cost). If you’d rather come via public transport, catch the bus to Assomada and then walk the two or so kilometres from there.

Caniço
Quinta Splendida Wellness & Botanical Garden lies seven kilometres from Funchal in a traditional village of Caniço on the southeast coast of Madeira. It's a 30,000-square-metre estate made up of lush botanical gardens with sweeping sea views and two nearby golf courses to choose from, when you're not indulging in spa time.
Caniço itself has supermarkets, local restaurants and bars as well as banks, and the capital Funchal has plenty to offer.
