Spread across the resort's grounds, apartments are cosy and furnished with comfy sofas and snug, carpeted floors. You can cook up a storm in your very own kitchen or head to a local village for some hearty pub grub.

Home from home: The interiors retain a charming Jacobean Great Hall, where stone floors give way to wood-panelled walls and a roaring fire burns beneath a head-height mantel. You'll also find a heated indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub as part of the spa's leisure facilities, as well as massages and beauty treatments (fees apply) and a well-equipped fitness centre. After returning from a day of exploration in the English countryside, you could also enjoy a friendly game of table tennis.

By car, the resort is easily accessible from the M6 motorway. The nearest airport is Manchester and the closest train station is Lancaster, easily navigable via taxi.

The resort will require a valid credit/debit card to charge a refundable security deposit of £100 per lodge or apartment.
