The Mitsis Norida Beach Hotel is just five kilometres from the resort town of Kardamena - a vibrant place with plenty of bars and restaurants and some excellent nightlife. It's well worth making the 30-40 minute journey into Kos Town - the island's capital - which boasts a beautiful fishing boat-thronged harbour and lovely, traditional whitewashed buildings.
