Passport, visa and health requirements

The passport, visa and health requirements (including those related to COVID-19) at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements, before you travel. Children's discount

On the basis of two full-paying adults, a discount for children may be offered dependent on the chosen travel dates and length of stay. You will see the applicable discount in the final booking process. Please note: children up to 12 months old receive a discount on the plane ticket, but will not receive a seat or baggage allowance.

Accompanied children under the age of 18 are required to present a valid passport upon arrival.

Pets are not permitted on this trip due to international plane travel.

Car rental

The main driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license. The main driver must have a credit card in their own name with a sufficient credit limit for the deposit. You will pick and up and drop off the rental car at the airport. Travellers should allow enough time to drive to the airport and return the rental car before the return flight.

Rental insurance

An excess risk applies in the event of theft or damage. A credit card deposit is required upon arrival. Comprehensive insurance, non-life insurance, liability insurance, theft insurance and cover for glass, tires, floor and roof damage is included. You will receive all rental car information along with your travel documents.

Rental type

Depending on the number of travelers, you will receive a Renault Sandero Stepway or a similar Group B model.

Flight times

Please note that flights may be subject to change, delay or postponement by the provider and that flight times are provisional. Don't forget to check the actual flight times before departure on the website of the airline or the airport to avoid inconvenient surprises.

You will receive all documents relevant to your trip, 7 days prior to departure at the latest

Vaccinations

All travellers should be up to date with primary courses and boosters. Vaccinations usually recommended for travel to South Africa include Diphtheria; Hepatitis A. Consult your doctor or the NHS travel advice website for more information.

Passport

Your passport must be valid for six months upon arrival in South Africa. Your passport should have at least 2 blank pages when you present it at immigration. For up-to-date information, visit the official gov.uk website.
