Stunning Seville

Whilst most people searching for the perfect Spanish city break tend to focus on either Madrid or Barcelona, those who are looking to escape the crowds and discover a new city should look no further than Seville! Whether you want to marvel at the architectural wonders of the Alcázar Palace and the Plaza de España, discover the intriguing attractions of the Plaza de Toros Bullring or the Metropol Parasol (the world’s largest wooden structure), or learn more about the local traditions in the neighbourhoods of Triana and La Macarena, this city has something for everyone. Better yet, the capital of the Andalusia region enjoys moderate to hot temperatures all year round. Does a Spanish city break get better than Seville?

Our tips
  • Historic Seville

The influence of the Arab world has heavily influenced Spanish architecture over the years - and Seville is no exception. For a long time, La Giralda was the tallest bell tower in the world. The former minaret, now the bell tower, is no longer the highest in the world but stands just as proud to this day and well worth a visit!

  • Torre del Oro

The 'Golden Tower' is built in Moorish style and certainly a must-see attraction during your visit to Seville. The building has served as a prison, chapel and museum since the 13th century, and from the top awaits a fantastic view of the river Guadalquivir.

  • Innovation across the ages

The Metropol Parasol is a large wooden structure resembling - you guessed it - a giant parasol. This quirky piece of art in Seville measures 150 x 70-metres and is a great photo opportunity on a stroll around the city.
