• Street food tour in Hoi An (day 11) • Step into Vietnamese food culture with this street food walking tour that takes in the food hotspots of Hoi An. You will visit the famous Banh Mi bakery, and make your way past many market stalls and street food vendors offering a tantalising selection of local specialties. Along the way, there are numerous opportunities to taste products and your guide will tell you about the food culture of Vietnam as you go. The tour takes place in the late afternoon, starting at 16:00, and lasts around 4 hours.

• Cooking workshop in Ho Chi Minh City (day 15) • First of all, a chef will take you to the vibrant Ben Thanh market in Ho Chi Minh City to buy a selection of ingredients for your cooking workshop. You will then learn about Vietnamese cooking techniques as you make several dishes. Afterwards, you will enjoy the 4-course meal prepared with your own hands! The excursion starts at 08:30 am and lasts approximately 3.5 hours.

• Day trip to the Mekong Delta (day 15) • Leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and step into the calm and flowing water world of the Mekong Delta. The first stop is the city of My Tho, where you will board a sampan boat ready to meander your way along the narrow canals of the Mekong River to the islands of Dragon, Phoenix, Tortoise and Unicorn. You will come ashore on Unicorn, where you will see orchards, enjoy folk music and watch the locals harvest honey and coconuts. Lunch is served in a local restaurant before heading to the village of Tan Thach. In Tan Thach you will hop on a bike and discover the local area and the pace of daily life as you cycle. The tour starts at 07:30 and lasts approximately 8 hours. All transportation and a guide is included. Breakfast and tips are not included.

• Excursion to the Cu Chi tunnels (day 15) • On this excursion, you will visit the impressive network of the Cu Chi tunnels. Built during the Vietnam War and covering no less than 250 km, the tunnels stretch as far as the border with Cambodia and were used during the war by Vietnamese civilians and resistance fighters. The excursion lasts approximately 4 hours and includes transportation, a guide and entrance fees.
