Visa	For travel in India, a visa is required. Travellers can apply for an e-visa online. It is advised to apply for your visa at the earliest opportunity and ensure you only go through the official Indian Government website. Applicants of Pakistani origin will need to apply for a visa at least 8 weeks before departure. For up to date information, visit the official gov.uk website or the relevant embassy.

Currency	The national currency of India is the Indian rupee (INR).
Similar accommodation	In order to give you the best possible holiday, we sometimes offer trips where you'll be staying at one of a selection of hotels (all with the same star rating, board basis, room type and location). Mostly, you'll be staying in the hotel written up in our description, but we're unable to guarantee the exact accommodation featured on the website every time. We'll let you know the name of your hotel, at least 7 days before departure.
Domestic flight	Your checked baggage may weigh up to 25 kg and your hand baggage may weigh up to 8 kg.
Extra nights	Please note that there may be an additional night(s) in transit due to flight schedules.
Airport transfer	Your driver will be waiting in your arrival hall or lobby of the airport with an A4-sized sign with your name and the logo of Travelbird or Secret Escapes.
Tipping	Tipping is expected in India. Budgets of € 5 per day for driver and 10 per day for tour guide are recommended.
