• Sunset safari (day 9) • On day 9 you will enjoy a memorable included excursion in Sossusvlei. Passport, visa and health requirements

The passport, visa and health requirements (including those related to COVID-19) at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements, before you travel. Please be sure to check the validity of your passport and allow up to 10 weeks for passport renewals.

Car rental

Your rental car is a 2 x 4 Hyundai Creta SUV - 1.6L (manual transmission). The main driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license. The main driver must have a credit card in their own name with a sufficient credit limit for the deposit. You will pick and up and drop off the rental car at the airport. Travellers should allow enough time to drive to the airport and return the rental car before the return flight.

Rental insurance

An excess risk applies in the event of theft or damage. A credit card deposit is required upon arrival. Comprehensive insurance, non-life insurance, liability insurance, theft insurance and cover for glass, tires, floor and roof damage is included. You will receive all rental car information along with your travel documents.

Maximum 3 persons per room.

Single supplement

The single supplement is based on travel dates and duration of travel. You will see the final price in the booking process.

Children's discount

On the basis of two full-paying adults, a discount for children may be offered dependent on the chosen travel dates and length of stay. You will see the applicable discount in the final booking process.

Unfortunately, cots are not available throughout this trip.

Passport

Visa

British citizens do not need a visa to travel in Namibia for up to 90 days. Always check the immigration stamp in your passport before leaving the immigration desk in Namibia to ensure the correct dates have been inputted. Vaccinations

All travellers should be up to date with primary courses and boosters. Vaccinations usually recommended for travel to Indonesia include Diphtheria; Hepatitis A; Tetanus. Consult your doctor or the NHS travel advice website for more information.

Pets

Pets are not permitted on this trip.

Travelling with children

In addition to valid passports, when travelling with children under the age of 18, parents or guardians should also carry the original or certified copy of the child's unabridged birth certificate.

Currency

The official currency of Namibia is the Namibian dollar (NAD). The South African rand (ZAR) is also commonly used.
