During this excursion you will visit the geodesic centre of Portugal, in Vila de Rei. The centre of the country is highlighted at the top of the mountain Serra da Melriça, from where you can enjoy an incredible view. Afterwards, the guide will take you on a walking tour on slate paths to the slate village of Agua Formosa, which owes its name to the clear water that springs from the source nearby. You can look forward to some spectacular views, as you walk across the walkways against the rock walls and along Lake Penedo Furado. You’ll conclude your excursion with a relaxing boat trip on the Zezere river, where you can rest for a while after all that hiking. Once back on land, you will be treated to a delicious picnic at the end.
The excursion takes place on day 3 for the 7-night stay and on day 4 for the 9-night stay. You will meet your guide at the Convento de Serta Hotel before driving to the excursion in your rental car.

Payment
If you book this deal before 35 days of your departure, you can choose to pay in parts. The deposit will be 50% of the deal’s price plus the booking fee and travel and/or cancellation insurance (when applicable). You will find the payment amounts and deadlines to pay every installment at the last step of the booking process.
