Spinalonga
The Venetian fortress on the island of Spinalonga, north of Agios Nikolaos, is an eye-catching place. You can visit the uninhabited island, also called Kalydon, from the beginning of April to the end of October. Spinalonga can be reached by boat in an hour from Agios Nikolaos.
