To make your Lapland adventure even more unforgettable, you'll have a choice of excursions to enjoy:
Northern Lights tour (included with all packages): Known by many names across the north, the stunning Aurora Borealis never fail to take your breath away. On this special tour, you'll be heading out to the best locations to spot them with expert guides, who'll also fill you in on the art of photographing the Aurora and the science behind the phenomenon.
Two-hour husky safari (included on Husky Trail package): Spend the morning getting to know a team of Finland's most iconic creatures - the husky dog. On this excursion, you'll learn how to drive a sled and take a magical dash through the snow, before enjoying some warming snacks and drinks by the fire. Please note, you will go on either the Happy Trail Morning tour or Thrill of Speed tour, depending on availability.
Optional excursions that can be added in the booking process:
Reindeer winter adventure Experience the magic of Christmas with an unforgettable reindeer ride through Santa Claus Village. A thrilling three kilometre ride takes you through the snowy forests, before heading to an open fire for snacks to warm you up. You'll also get a fascinating insight into the centuries-old traditions of Lappish people, cuisine and culture.
Reindeer farm visit & safari: For a festive bucket list experience, head out into the peaceful wilderness where you'll take a scenic reindeer sleigh ride through the snow, before getting to meet the local reindeer grazing nearby. You'll also have a pitstop by the fire to grill sausages and warm up with hot berry juice, and can try feeding the reindeer their own favourite snack - fresh lichen.
Payment
If you book this deal before 35 days of your departure, you can choose to pay in parts. The deposit will be 50% of the deal’s price plus the booking fee and travel and/or cancellation insurance (when applicable). You will find the payment amounts and deadlines to pay every installment at the last step of the booking process.
