• Half-day Damnoen Saduak floating market tour (five hours) •

Visit Damnoen Saduak’s floating market in Ratchaburi, 100 kilometres away from Bangkok. This showstopping market is attractive and colorful, consisting of traditional Thai houses on and boats sailing up and down the waterways. After being picked up between 8-8.30am and driving west of Bangkok, you’ll take a longtail boat ride through the canals before arriving at the market, where you can see vendors selling all kinds of wares from wooden statues to tropical fruits.

• Full-day Kanchanburi and River Kwai excursion (10 hours) •

Venture out of Bangkok and delve into Thailand’s past with a trip to Kanchanburi, close to the Myanmar border. Here, you’ll visit the Thai-Burma Railways Museum and the War Cemetery, where you can explore the construction of the ‘Death Railway’ and learn about the living conditions and life of the prisoners of war. Then, you’ll head to a bridge overlooking the River Kwai where you’ll have lunch, then some free time which will allow you to visit Hellfire Pass, where many prisoners dies trying to force the railway line through almost impossible terrain to Myanmar. This trip departs at 7am and you’ll be back in Bangkok by evening.

• Full-day Ayutthaya discovery tour (eight hours) •

Among Thailand’s ‘must-see attractions’ is its former capital, Autthaya. The UNESCO-listed city is a shrine of temples and ruins: you’ll get to explore the principal sites such as Wat Monkol, Borpit, Wat Phra Srisanpetch and Wat Yai Chaimongkol. After lunch in a local restaurant, you’ll embark on a boat tour to Bang Pa-In to visit Wat Nived, a Gothic-inspired temple on the bank of the Chao Phraya river, as well as other sights such as a summer palace built by King Rama IV. This trip departs at 7am.

• Half-day visit to Kanta Elephant Sanctuary (four hours) •

Spend quality time with elephants in their natural habitat at Kanta Elephant Sanctuary, where you’ll also gain an insight into their behaviour. You’ll create cherished memories with these amazing animals, who thrive in a safe and sustainable environment. You’ll be picked up between 6.30-7am and dropped back off between 1-1.30pm.

• Half-day Thai Cooking class (four hours) •

Experience a hands-on Thai cooking lesson with a qualified English-speaking instructor. You’ll begin with a trip to a local market where you’ll learn to select and buy ingredients, then head to the kitchen to watch a demonstration before prepping your own dish. You’ll be picked up from the hotel at 9.30am.

• Chiang Mai street food by tuk-tuk by evening (four hours) •

See Chiang Mai’s Old Town at night with a tuk-tuk tour, sampling must-try street food dishes and local delicacies as you’ve never experienced them before. Soak up the atmosphere as you wander round the lantern-lit stalls and watching vendors and sellers interact with each other. Pick up time is 5.30pm and this excursion includes dinner.

• Half-day Wildlife Friends Foundation Experience (four hours) •

Take this opportunity to learn about Thailand’s wildlife by interacting with rescued animals at the Wildlife Rescue Centre and Elephant Refuge. You’ll gain a fascinating insight into wildlife conservation and animal welfare in Thailand. Please note this excursion is only available on weekends; you’ll be picked up between 9-9.15am.

• Full-day Sam Roi Yod trekking (eight hours) •

Embrace all the natural beauty of Thailand’s first Coastal National Park. Dubbed ‘The 300 Peaks’, the area is home to hundreds of limestone mountains and hills, as well as coves and beaches hugging the coastline. You’ll be picked up at 8.30am and enjoy a full eight hours in the wilderness; lunch is also included.

• Full-day excursion to Pala U waterfall (eight hours) •

More natural wonders await in Kaeng Krachan National Park, Thailand’s largest national park: you’ll visit the Pala U waterfall, a stunning beauty with a pool full of wild carp, as well as Lab Lere Cave, a grotto full of culture and tradition, and finally Huay Mongkol temple.
