How to get there
Stadele is approximately 25 kilometres away from Bolzano airport. Head northbound on the SS38 until you see signs for Lana. It’s also possible to reach the hotel via public transport: take the train up to Lana - Postal, then change for the 211 bus to Minicipio. From there, it’s a three-minute walk to the hotel.

Lana
Welcome to Lana, a picturesque town on the southern slope of the Merano basin, right at the entrance of Val d’Ultimo. It’s high-altitude adventure and culture here, and Lana has a peculiar claim to fame: did you know it’s home to around 40 churches, monasteries, and convents? One unmissable stop is certainly the majestic Schnatterpeck altar in the Church of Lana si Sotto. Once you’ve had your fill of religious revelry, it’s time to embrace the major protagonist of the region: nature. Miles upon miles of hiking paths are waiting to be explored (some of which lead to Mediaeval castles and crumbling fortresses), while adrenaline junkies might want to tear down trails on a mountain bike. Come winter, when the landscape changes, there are abundant ski and snowboarding opportunities in the area: there's around 21 kilometres of slope to enjoy, plus extras such as snow hiking and tobogganing. The nearest ski lift (the San Vigilio Cable Car) is around 400 yards away.
