If you find yourself wanting to dive into the cultural side of the city, then seeking out the Grand Palace will get you in the mood to seek out further thrills. Be sure to visit the many temples that line the riverside; Wat Phra Kaew, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is one of the most iconic, but Wat Pho, with its 46-metre-long reclining Buddha, is a must-visit too.

Koh Phangan

Your next stop, Panviman Resort Koh Phangan, sits on the powder sands of the gorgeous Thong Nai Pan Bay. Separated from the island's party scene – Koh Phangan is home to the infamous Full Moon Party – the resort retains an unspoiled feel that has all the elements of a perfect getaway.
