Enjoy an epic Finnish Lapland experience with a glass igloo stay, including all travel and optional excursions
Embark on the snow-capped adventure of a lifetime with an ice-cold yet heartwarming escape to Rovaniemi, Lapland's capital and official home to Santa Claus in northern Finland. Spend this unforgettable escape at Arctic SnowHotel, an iconic hotel carved from the winter's ice, creating a new set of chilly abodes for an unusual night's sleep.
Spend one night in the hotel itself, where extreme-weather sleeping bags and cosy blankets will help you keep warm as you doze within the kooky conditions. To top it off, bed down in one of the unforgettable glass igloos, where the 360-degree glass roofs show off enigmatic views of the sky above - and an Aurora alarm will ensure you every chance of spotting the Northern Lights as they dance above in the night's sky.
Please be aware that the Northern Lights are a naturally occurring phenomenon, so whilst we hope you'll get to see them, we can't guarantee they'll oblige. Please also note that the snow cover early in the season is not guaranteed, and should it be insufficient for your snow-based excursions, alternate activities will be offered or the tour may be cancelled.

Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloos
- Hotel
- Sinettä, Finland
One of the biggest snow hotels in the world, Arctic SnowHotel is a landmark that's re-carved each year from the winter's ice, creating an unique hotel made from frozen snow. The spectacular glass igloos are well insulated and cosy, with thermal glass roofs boasting 360-degree views of the sky - the perfect opportunity to sleep underneath the stars, and even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. When it comes to dining, Lappish Kota and Ice Restaurant both serve up delicious local specialities, while your relaxation needs are well taken care of with traditional Finnish saunas, snow saunas, and outdoor Jacuzzis.
The temperature in SnowHotel stays always between 0 and −5 ºC, even in extremely cold weather. Our sleeping bags are suitable for arctic conditions. No special equipment is required, other than warm outdoor clothes suited for winter, but we highly recommend packing long underwear, a warm hat, long-sleeved shirt, trousers and wool socks to wear inside the sleeping bag.
