Day 1: UK/Ireland - Night on board

Today you’ll head to your departure airport ready for an overnight flight to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

Day 2: Victoria Falls

Admire enchanting natural scenery as you touch down in Victoria Falls, named after Queen Victoria by the explorer David Livingstone. Rest up for tomorrow’s adventure after transferring to your hotel, and explore your surroundings at leisure if time permits.

Day 3: Victoria Falls - Kasane

After breakfast, you’ll set off for Kasane, crossing the border into Botswana and heading towards the spectacular Chobe National Park, one of the world’s top wildlife destinations that’s home to elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras and more. Spend the rest of the day exploring Kasane at your own pace - or if you’re keen for more thrills, hop on a 4x4 and set out on an optional three-hour game drive in the afternoon.

Day 4: Kasane - Chobe National Park

Grab your binoculars and jump into an open safari vehicle - you’re off for a thrilling game drive this morning through Chobe National Park. Boasting a sprawling 11,700 square kilometres ripe for exploration, Botswana’s oldest national park is known for having the highest population of African elephants still in their natural habitat, so be sure to keep an eye out for these majestic giants. Round off the day with a scenic optional sunset cruise down the Chobe River, spotting hippos, crocodiles, elephants and birds with a sundowner in hand.

Day 5: Kasane - Maun

This morning, you’ll pack your bags and transfer to Kasane Airport for your flight to Maun, a town on the Thamalakane River in northern Botswana, and the gateway to the magical Okavango Delta. A world-famous safari hotspot, the delta is studded with camps dotted around the Moremi Game Reserve, which is home to hippos, lions, rhino and more. Unwind after your travels, or ramp up the thrill factor with an optional helicopter or light aircraft flight - you’ll soar over this vast watery wonderland, taking in spellbinding panoramic views of the delta’s wildlife, dazzling scenery and most remote spots.
Please note that depending on the flight schedule you may not be able to enjoy both activities.

Day 6: Maun - Okavango Delta

After breakfast at your lodge, you’ll set out for a full-day trip to Mokoro. You’ll start bright and early with a speedboat cruise to the Buffalo Fence, the first stop on an unforgettable journey through the channels of the Okavango. As you delve deep into the intricate waterways, an expert local guide will share insights on their native land, as you savour the stillness of your enchanting surroundings from a traditional Mokoro canoe. Stop for a picnic on one of the islands before embarking on a scenic nature walk, spotting wildlife and learning about the delta's native tribes and species as you go. Please note that the first part of the boat journey may be replaced by a 4×4 vehicle ride if there are adverse weather conditions.

For safety reasons, the Mokoro day-trip is not suitable for children. If you are travelling with children, you will enjoy a wonderful day out in the Moremi Game Reserve, whose open savannah, tree islands and lagoons offer excellent opportunities for bird- and wildlife-spotting.

Day 7: Maun - Victoria Falls

Today, you’ll transfer to the airport ready to fly back to Kasane and return to Victoria Falls. Spend the rest of your day at leisure, relaxing by the pool or taking in more of the area’s incredible natural landscapes.

Day 8: Victoria Falls

After breakfast, embark on a bucket-list visit to the Zimbabwean side of Victoria Falls, an awe-inspiring UNESCO World Heritage Site straddling Zimbabwe and Zambia on the south side of the Zambezi River. Take in the sheer magnitude of this natural wonder from different vantage points, and perhaps top it up with an optional Flight of the Angels Helicopter Experience to see the majestic waterfalls from above. Come evening, get a taste of local culture with an optional Boma dinner and drum show, a lavish feast with lively entertainment including mbira music, traditional dancers, folk tales and more.

Day 9: Victoria Falls - Night on board

After your whirlwind week-long adventure through some of Africa’s most beautiful landscapes, pack your bags, binoculars and souvenirs and transfer to the airport for your overnight flight home.

Return flights are included from your selected airport to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

A 8kg hand luggage and a 23kg hold luggage allowance per person is included, as well as all transfers and internal flights.

Outbound: departing between 00.00 and 23.59, arriving between 05.00 and 23.59
Inbound: departing between 06.00 and 23.59, arriving between 00.00 and 23.59

Please note that both your outbound and inbound flights are overnight, so please bear this in mind when planning the time you'll be away. The date you select as your check-in date will be the day you'll fly out from the UK, and you'll arrive in Zimbabwe the following day to commence your seven-night holiday. The check-out date will be the day that you'll board your inbound flight back to the UK. Since your inbound is also overnight, you'll be away for a total of nine nights.

Visa information	Please note that a visa is required for entrance to Zimbabwe. As you will make two entries into the country, we recommended the "Double Entry" visa type, allowing you to enter Zimbabwe twice in a 90-day period. Passport	Please note that a Passport is required for some activities.
Deposit	Please note that a deposit of 35% of the travel price must be paid within 48 hours of your booking; the remaining balance of 65% is due no later than 60 days before departure. The travel booking only becomes binding when you receive our travel confirmation.
Additional fees	Please note that the Falls Park fees (USD 50 per person, payable onsite) are not included in the excursion.
Transfers	Please note that the airport transfer on departure is not included when adding additional nights to the itinerary. If required, a departure airport transfer can be added for an additional cost.
Early check-in	You will have the option to add early check-in on arrival. To guarantee optional services, we recommend that you add them to your current booking, as they are subject to availability.
Accommodation	Accommodation at the hotels is as indicated. In the event of any changes to accommodation, they will always be of the same, or a higher category.
