Embrace India's highlights from the Ganges and Kolkata to the beach paradise of the Andaman Islands – includes breakfast, all travel and excursions
From the colonial splendour of New Delhi and the legendary marble palace of the Taj Mahal to the palm trees of the Andaman Islands - an exclusive adventure awaits you.
Your journey begins amid the impressive buildings and fortresses around Rajasthan and the Delhi region in northwest India. The Taj Mahal is one of the country's undisputed highlights: the 58 metre-high mausoleum on the banks of the Yamuna River not only impresses with its structure, but is also reminiscent of the kind and beautiful Mumtaz Mahal, the great love of Emperor Shah Jahan. You'll also stop in New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur before continuing east along the Ganges to Varanasi. There, witness the solemn spectacle of a large evening prayer ceremony on the banks of the mighty river and also experience the magic of a boat trip on the river in the early hours of the morning.
Your next stop will be the Ganges Delta and Bengal's metropolis Kolkata, which will impress you with its colonial heritage, among other things. Your tour then leads to the dreamy Andaman Archipelago, on the paradise beaches of Havelock Island and Neil Island as well as Port Blair, the capital of the archipelago. Finally, enjoy the megacity of Chennai, where you can admire the impressive temple districts of Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. Your unique India adventure is perfected by carefully selected hotels of the highest categories.
