Your adventure starts in Marrakech, which is full to the brim with bazaars and historic architecture just waiting to be appreciated. You'll then make your way to the country's cultural capital, Fez, known for its walled medina with medieval Marinid architecture, and vibrant souks with an old-world atmosphere. As an ancient breeding ground for scholars, artisans and imams alike, you'll find a city with a historical and cultural lineage that beguiles its many visitors. You'll then move on from here, enjoying the stunning views of the Rif mountains en route, as you make your way to Chefchaouen, Morocco's blue-washed city full of leather and weaving workshops which line its steep, cobbled lanes. • Marrakech medina and souks tour (private guided tour) •
Visit Marrakech's medina and it many souks, where you can witness the local vendors at work. Here you'll find everything from fresh vegetables and fragrant herbs to leather goods and jewellery. Be entertained by the street artists, snake charmers and musicians at Jemaa El Fna square, and visit the Ben Youssef Madrassa, a former Koranic school.
• Hot air balloon ride (group excursion from Marrakech, with breakfast) •
During this unforgettable experience, you'll float over the peaks of Morocco's Atlas Mountains. Then you'll return to Marrakech by 4x4. The excursion begins at around 5am and lasts around four hours, including around 40 minutes in the air. Depending on weather conditions, it may be necessary to postpone the balloon ride (or cancel and refund if necessary).
