How to get there
Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa is nestled on the northern shores of Rutland Water, within the Rutland Water Nature Reserve. You'll be about 10 minutes' drive from Oakham railway station, while Stamford station is just under 20 minutes' drive or 40 minutes' bus ride away.
Good to know
Please note that the spa treatment rooms are currently undergoing refurbishment and are expected to reopen in late September 2024.
The swimming pool will be closed from 1 September 2024 until spring 2025 for refurbishment.
Entry requirements

Relaxation is guaranteed with a stay at the heart of the Rutland Water Nature Reserve, an East Midlands jewel lying between the towns of Oakham and Stamford. Enjoy gentle strolls along the water's edge, go for a spot of birdwatching, or head out with a bike to to take in more of the breathtaking landscape. There are also plenty of activities available around the hotel - from horseback riding to golf and fishing.
If you fancy a change of scene, Stamford is less than 30 minutes' drive away, and home to charming restaurants and cafes, honey-hued stone buildings, antique shops, and a buzzing high street. Also not to be missed is the opulent Burghley House, with its gorgeous gardens and surrounding parkland.
